November Beauty Favorites

It felt like November went by super quickly and I am happy it did because I had so much on my plate this month! With all the busyness, makeup was my stress free outlet but I stayed with the basics and don’t have much for this month. Here are the favorites:

1) MAC lipstick in Girl About Town

An old favorite that is much loved. I think the lipstick will be the next empty I will put in in my bin. I would describe it as a raspberry pink, the perfect pink for winter (or all seasons) as it’s not a classic barbie pink.

2) Estee Lauder Envy Sculpting Lipstick in Insolent Plum (450)

A recent purchases of this month (you can read about it hear), I love this lipstick and from the many times I have worn it I have received so many compliments on it. It is exactly the same colour as MAC’s Rebel lipstick, but this one is more moisturizing and smoother in my opinion.

1) Tarte Amazon Clay 12- hour blush in Exposed

The most exciting part about this blush is that I hit pan this month after many months of usage. I didn’t think I would pick the blush up any time soon because I was so in love with my Body Shop Bronzer for contouring but one day I was in a rush and just picked this up to use both as a blush and contour then I didn’t stop using it. It is a pink-mauve-brown blush that gives a nice flush and contours the cheeks pretty well.

1)MAC sumptuous Olive eyeshadow

I really like this eyeshadow and I wish I would use it more. I think this colour can be considered a neutral and be used daily, but I always think that it doesn’t match my clothes or whatever and then don’t use it as much as I should. This month I made myself use it more, and I loved the effect I got when I used it with my bareMinerals eyeshadow quad in The Rare Find where I put the light brown and brick colour in the crease and the olive colour all over my lid. I’m still planning on using this shadow more and coming up with new looks with it.

2) Dior Addict It-Lash Mascara in Blue

Why is this limited edition! This is the perfect blue mascara as my lashes are black but the blue still shows up, and the wand is good enough that it doesn’t clump my lashes together to look like spider legs. I love it so much that I don’t want to use it too much in order for it to stay longer but I also don’t want it to dry up. Oh the problems!

That’s all for this month!
