December Beauty Favorites!

First of all, Merry Christmas to all that celebrate and Happy Holidays!

Here are my December favorites, and I m really happy with these items. December was a good beauty month for me as I discovered a lot of new and quality worthy goodies.

December Fav.

Face:

This month I was dealing with a lot of break outs and they were intense! I never dealt with such break outs and acne. As a result I was and still am dealing with many scares. This is where these three products helped me out. The Danielle Laroche 24/7 BE BRIGHT  Laser Action Dark Spot Solution- I use this at night (sometimes in the morning too) after I was my face, put my toner on and then I tap some of the cream on my spots. I have seen good results with this but it requires you to maintain the routine to get the full result. I m really happy with this product at the moment.

The second item is the Bioderma Anti-Redness Care for Sensitive skin moisturizer. I like this because its not grease and goes on very smooth on the skin. I have been using Cetaphil’s Daily Face Moisturizer with SPF 50 for many years now and I still use it. However, I got the Bioderma with a package and like it more right now because I need a less moisturizing cream in the morning. It works better with my makeup and helps my foundation and concealer stay longer because since its not grease it doesn’t move the makeup around.

The final face product is the Gosh Colour corrector concealer in Green. I don’t like the packaging much but the product it good. It took me a while to figure out how to use it, nevertheless I got the hang of it and like it. I use it under my foundation and it helps bring down the redness I was dealing with because of the my break outs.

Eyes:

My first favorite is the Tarte CC undereye corrector. When I bought this from Sephora, I wasn’t sure how much I would love it. When a Sephora worker tried this on me I wasn’t too pleased but I decided to give it a try and I don’t regret it at all.  It’s a very creamy product and covers my dark undereye shadows very well! Especially on days that I didn’t get enough sleep.

The second is the Josie Maran Argan Black Oil Mascara- I was very surprised with this. I wasn’t sure how this would turn out and since I am very picking with mascaras I was ready to dislike it. However, I truly enjoy it. It’s not a dramatic mascara and I guess that would be a negative side of it, but for everyday its great. It gives good volume, length, it doesn’t come off throughout the day and its easy to take off at night.

Lips and Cheeks:

NYX Butter Gloss in Raspberry Tart, I bought this on a wimp as I was looking around a drug store and saw they had NYX counter. I heard a lot about their products, especially their butter glosses on Youtube and I decided right then to try it. When I first opened it and tried it on I was surprised because I expected the colour to be much more opaque. It still has a good amount of colour but I thought it would be like a lipstick/gloss formate but its just a true lip gloss but the formula it amazing. I was never a gloss person because of their texture and lack of longevity- but this gloss is great in its texture as its smooth and non-sticky. It has a pleasant smell and when it fades it leaves a small tint on the lips.

Josie Maran Argan Infinity Lip and Cheek Creamy Oil in Limitless Pink- I LOVE this! I can’t explain how much I love this product. This whole month I have been wearing this as my blush and nothing else. It enhances my nature cheek colour and has superb longevity. I’m so tempted to check out other colours from this range and buy them but I’m being good and not letting that happen.
