Beauty Favorites 2014

This year has blown by, and I can’t grasp how fast the year has ended. So much happened in 2014, a mixture of bad experiences, amazing travels, self-awareness, understanding and growth moments and overall a great learning year. Along with person growth, my interest in beauty and makeup grew as well and that led me to find some awesome products. Here are my favorite beauty products of 2014:

2014 Fav.

Bioderma Make-up removing micelle solution- at first I was secptucal about the product and all the hype around it. I bought a small bottle of it in the green package first and I loved it, but it broke my skin out because of its fragrance. However, the pink bottle doesn’t do that. They take the makeup off beautifully, especially heavy eye makeup and leaves my face feeling fresh and clean.

The Body Shop Tea Tree Skin Clearing Toner- I use this every night, sometimes in the morning too if I m dealing with many break outs. It’s a great toner, mostly in regards to diminishing pimples.

Spa Cosmetics Alo Vera dead sea treatment Soothing Revitalizing Moisture Cream- I love this night moisturizer! I mix it with the  Nature’s Gate Vitamin E Oil- this is pure Vitamin E and I first put the oil on my face and then with the cream I spread it around my face. In the morning my face feels all moisturized, soft and relaxed. I love this combo.

See See Mineral Facial Pure Mud Mask- This mask helps clear my skin very well. Since it has small dead see salt in, I slowly scrub the mud on my face in a thin layer and let it stay until dried and was it away with warm water.

Rusk Thickr Myst for thickening myst for fine or thin hair- gives my hair great volume. I wouldn’t say this is the best product in the world, I m sure there are much better products out there. But from all the products I have used so far, this has been the best. Very easy to use, after I towel dry my hair I spray the myst all over my hair, focusing on the roots.

Batiste Dry Shampoo- There are days that I don’t have time for a shower and this product has been a savor. I wish the powder was in a brunette colour to match my hair but I rub the product in well to make sure it doesn’t show up in my hair.

bareMinerals READY Eyeshadow 4.0 in The Rare Find- I swear I have many eye products and shadows! But this eyeshadow quad has been the most loved this year. I can’t get enough of it and its such a easy product to use. My goal for this new year is to show more love to my other eyeshadows, but I have a feeling I will be hitting pan on this quad soon.

MAC eyeshadow in Moleskin- light brown colour that I use in my crease. This is a limited edition colour, and because of that I don’t use it everyday but this is my favorite eyeshadow ever!

Stila Smudge Stick Waterproof eye line in turqoise- This is such a awesome colour and product. I use it on my bottom lashes or even as a liner. I used it mostly in the spring and summer time but I still wear it in the winter time. Looks great with my eye colour and I have received many compliments on it. The only issue with it is the packaging- very cheap and not durable.

AnnaBelle Kohl Eyeliner in 80 Blue Grey- I love this colour with my eye colour, makes my eyes pop. It’s easy to use, pigments and cheap. Can’t get better than that!

Revlon Lash Potion by Grow Luscious Volume and Length Mascara in Blackest Black- This mascara was a life saver for my lashes. After I returned from my Europe trip by lashes were in the worst state I have ever seen them. I picked this mascara up on a wimp because of its name and claim and I loved it. I’m gonna repurchase it and this doesnt happen often or at all because I m super picky with mascaras.

Dior Addict It-Lash Mascara in  272 Blue- Perfect blue mascara that doesn’t stick lashes together and shows up great on black lashes. So sad this is limited edition.

Tarte Amazonian clay 12- hour blush in Exposed- When I got this in Winter 2014 I wore this non-stop for at least 4 months and now I m back at it. It works as a blush and contour colour on me. Great blush.

Josie Maran Argan Infinity Lip and Cheek Creamy Oil in Limitless Pink- I only had this for one month and its my favorite. I can’t explain what a amazing product this is. I’ve done a blog post about this already. I highly recommend.

Tarte CC undereye corrector in shade 1 light-medium- Works great in covering my very noticeable, big and dark undereye shadows. Does what it says and stays on well.

MAC Studio Fix Concealer in NC20- This works wonders. I have had this since August, use it everyday more than foundation and haven’t even hit pan. Covers everything and stays on well. Since I have dry skin it doesn’t highlight the dryness.

Kat Von D Lipstick in Adora- I adore this lipstick, its a red with gold undertone. It’s so pigmented that even though its a small size and I have used it so many times it hasn’t hit pan yet. When I’m done with is, I will definitely by the full lipstick. One of my all time favorites.

Cle De Peau Lipstick in shade 11- This is in the old packaging and number but man are this lipsticks great! I have two of them but this is my favorite. Its a dark rose colour that is great for every day wear. I would use this lipstick everyday, and I did for about a month, but I don’t want to finish it up. I think its worth the price. And the packaging is chic and classy!
